Residen Evil: Afterlife

Resident Evil: Afterlife is an upcoming 3D science fiction horror film written and directed by Paul W. S. Anderson, and starring Milla Jovovich, Ali Larter, Kim Coates, Spencer Locke, Wentworth Miller, Boris Kodjoe and Shawn Roberts. It is the fourth installment in a series of film adaptations based on Capcom's survival horror video game series Resident Evil. It is also the first film in the series to be released in 3D, using Avatar's Fusion Camera System. Resident Evil: Afterlife is scheduled to be released on September 10, 2010.

Comment: Okay, this movie is good! Me and my girl loved it, we even got signatures from Ah Niu and Yi Jet Qi. Also this is the 1st time that my girl meet actors in real life, she was so happy! Go watch this movie, it's gooooooood~~

Shutter Island

Shutter Island is a 2010 psychological mystery-thriller film directed by Martin Scorsese and starring Leonardo DiCaprio. The film is based on the 2003 novel of the same name by Dennis Lehane. Production started in March 2008. Shutter Island was originally slated to be released on October 2, 2009, but Paramount pushed the release date to February 19, 2010. Paramount head executive Brad Grey blamed the recent economic downturn as the main decision behind the delayed release date.

Comment: Okay, this is one of the best movies I've ever watched... And I almost confused myself when I'm watching this movie. I must say, it's a really good movie and I loved it. MUST WATCH!

Being Human

Max (Mark Lee) is a hardworking but unscrupulous employee for a mildly successful slimming centre Natural Beauty. In his efforts to increase company profits, Max decides to purchase supplies from a counterfeit brand. When he was found out, Max was fired. In his retaliation, Max decides to open a rival company Max Beauty, using the same counterfeit beauty products and imported slimming pills. Max's conscience (played by Taiwanese celebrity Nono) appears to advise him against these actions but is duly ignored. Max will eventually realize that what comes around, goes around.

Comment:
So for, since I'm with my girl until now, this is the best Mandarin movies I ever watched. "eh piang eh" XD best quote ever. If you really have no other movies to watch, watch this... Not a waste of time.. =)

Just Another Pandora's Box

“Just Another Pandora’ Box” is a follow-up of Jeff’s classic 90s hit comedies like “Black Rose” and “A Chinese Odyssey.” Like his earlier films, Jeff’s latest combines slapstick humour revolving around movie spoofs (John Woo’s “Red Cliff,” “Titanic,” “Kung Fu Hustle,” “Kung Fu Panda” – just to name a few) with romance to create plenty of ridiculously funny share of laugh-out-loud moment, featuring a whole a horde of stars from mainland China and Hong Kong.

Comment:
To me it's funny enough lol, any way this is like, the 3rd or 4th chinese movie that I watched with my girl, she likes it so I guess today afternoon everything turned out okay.. The spoofs are not THAT good, but good enough to make me people laugh. I give it 3/5.

Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief

At the top of the Empire State Building, Poseidon (Kevin McKidd) meets with Zeus (Sean Bean), who comments that the storm clouds have no lightning and that his master bolt has been stolen. He blames Poseidon's son for the theft. Despite Poseidon's claims of his son's innocence, Zeus gives Poseidon 14 days to return it, lest war break out.

Comment:
It was good, really good. I didn't expect this movie to be THAT good, I mean I know how good is the book but not the movie.. Even my girl likes it, since she doesn't like action movies but this actually impressed her.. =) so if you ask me whether should watch it or not, I'll say "It's a MUST" =D

The Wolfman

Clash of the Titans

The 1981 mythological fantasy adventure Clash of the Titans is resurrected in this remake from Incredible Hulk director Louis Leterrier and veteran writer Lawrence Kasdan. The joint Legendary Films/Warner Bros.

Production focuses on Perseus (Sam Worthington), the mortal hero made to carry out a series of quests by the gods in order to win the hand of the imprisoned princess Andromeda.

w00t, Sam Worthington (the actor from Avatar) is going to be Perseus now.. Very interesting, I really wanna see how he chop off Medusa's head.. Definitely ganna watch this movie.

The Last Airbender

《大日子woohoo!》是一部刻画出人性、社会与文化特质的轻松温情戏剧，由林德荣、颜江瀚、Royce陈志康、邱文博、杨佳贤、颜薇恩、曾洁钰、萧慧 敏、卓卉勤、黄一飞十位艺人担纲演出。戏中演员皆以很道地的语言和方言沟通，引出一幕幕与本地人生活息息相关的故事情节，更倍增与观众之间的共鸣。


电影中除了有林德荣和颜薇恩化身保安员"阿炳"和卖菜贩"阿莲"，把这两个深入民心的角色视觉化，也有杨佳贤饰演炒粿条小贩"阿发"、Royce陈志康挑 战娘娘腔角色、邱文博顶着"八两金"发型上镜、卓卉勤牺牲形象扮演"大肚婆"，还有曾洁钰饰演的"乡下阿连"等等个性鲜明，而且在角色塑造上都很跳脱的人 物。《Astro新秀大赛2009》冠军黄毓敏也演绎由Alex San制作的电影主题曲。


这部片的演员阵容不仅绝大部分是大家熟悉的Astro和MYFM艺人，连从电影构思、剧本、拍摄到后期制作，也是百分之一百大马人的杰作。据周青元披露， 当初有外国电影公司被这部片的构思吸引并有意投资，但必须让两位外国演员参演，结果被他婉拒了。"我们宁愿搁置计划，即使开拍不成，也坚持要制作一部属于 我们自己的电影。"


《大日子woohoo!》将于明年1月14日在各大戏院率先上映，不让争先进驻本地贺岁档的海外电影专美于前，因为这个新年，本地观众终于拥有一部100%属于马来西亚的中文贺岁片。

When I 1st decide to watch this movie is mainly all because of Ah Girl, cos she love chinese movies so what the hack, just try it cos I don't like to watch chinese movies in the theaters. At 1st I feel kinda boring, but after a few funny scenes I start to like the movie and also I'm happy because Ah Girl keep on laughing non stop, eventho she's cold and everything but she enjoyed alot.. Well I'm ganna rate this, 3/5... This is my 1st time rating Malaysia movies that high okay ? XD

Princess and the frog

The Princess and the Frog is an American animated family film loosely based on E. D. Baker's novel The Frog Princess, which was in turn inspired by the Grimm brothers' fairy tale "The Frog Prince". The film opened in limited release in New York and Los Angeles on November 25, 2009, and released in wide on December 11, 2009.

Iron Man 2 is an upcoming 2010 superhero film, based on the Marvel Comics fictional character Iron Man. The film is directed by Jon Favreau, with Robert Downey, Jr. reprising the title role. The film is to be released on April 30 (UK & AU) and May 7 (USA), 2010.

2012 is a 2009 disaster film directed by Roland Emmerich. Own Comment: w00t, a very good movie.. Me and Nee enjoyed it soooo much just now and we were like... "OMG~! RUN!!!" XD had so much fun.. Anyway, this is one of the best disaster film I ever watched.. This is good! 4.5/5.. Very good~

As I expected, this movie made me laugh.. To me it's not as disgusting as Saw. All the Saw movies is way better then this movie, anyway.. It's not really that bad, just funny.. And I love seeing them die.. They're just so sad, but funny.. ><" So I'll rate this movie 3/5.

Watched this movie with my girl and some new friends yesterday, love Dug.. But not as good as I expected.. There are a few parts really makes me feel like "I wish I have those" watch the movie and you will understand.
